pre-op appt.

Hi every one im new here.
Im having surgery on oct.22nd and i was just wondering how long the pre op appt. takes? ive read of people getting MRI's but my doctor has not mentioned it to me.

This is a great site and you will truely enjoy it. The information you find here is so valuable.

I'm sure every pre op is different, mine took about 4 hours. I had a physical, x-rays, EKG, pre addmission, blood work, metting with the anasteolagist (sp?), and a meeting with a nurse who went over everything you could possibly think of. I had an MRI done the previous year and the Dr. saw no need to do another.
