Plastic Surgery On Rib Hump

I went for a check up on myback today to Stanmore, have been suffering more back pain. I am to be referred to a plastic surgeon at the same hospital, the back surgeon suggested I may need a skin graft over my rib hump as it is sore due to rubbing.

I did have a type of brace made last year but it was very awkward to put on and not very comfortable, has anyone had any surgery for the rib hump? Is it a small procedure?

so wait your getting rib hump surgurey and not the spinal procedure??

I have been to the plastic surgeon and they cannot put extra skin over my rib hump, I had a rod inserted about 30 years ago and it had to be removed as it became infected about 9 years ago. I now use a ventilator at night.

I look forward to your comments, I was upset after my appointment.
