Hi Guys,
Has anyone heard of these medications for symptom relief? Baclofen combined with Zanaflex? I have a friend in the health care field and according to her, this is what spine specialists in Vancouver are giving to patients with severe scoliosis. Anyone tried it? I believe they are anti spastic medications, which may make sense if muscle problems are agitating the condition. Lend me your thoughts. All the best, Bish

P.S I am going to quiz my doc a.s.a.p

My husband has MS and takes Baclofen for overall body pain. It doesn't take the pain away completely, but it helps so he can function. I also know a 3yr old girl who takes Baclofen for torticollis (tight neck muscle). She can't sleep or function in the day without it. I don't know about the combination with the other meds. May be worth looking in to. Good luck.

Bish,
Your local pharmacist is usually an excellent source of info--sometimes better than the physician because they deal with this day in and day out.
