  • First round of pre-op tests out of the way

Less than three weeks to go and holding steady !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fortunately I only needed a lumbar MRI so I was only in the tube for half an hour -- it's crazy in there. I kept my eyes closed and listened to the jackhammer noises instead of fighting them. It actually kept me calm. I was impressed by all the technicians I encountered, especially the ones at HSS. Can't wait to find out whether or not I'm being fused to L5 or the sacrum...I'll find out on the 14th.

Good luck to all of us whose surgery is right around the corner.

Glad to hear you're holding up!!!

Hope you get the news you want!!! But if not, as you all ready know, you will get through it.

I'll put you down for L-5 in my prayers.
