ok well, i got my brace in FEB. 2007--worst day of my life btw. anway ive been back for a check up once and yes i did hate it! well next time i got they want me to take my brace off all day the day before and they want to xray my hand to see how much ive grown. am i going to have less hours or get it off early or am i just imagining it? please help!

well, you take it off the night before (when you go to bed) then you go the whole day without it and you put it on after you have your appointment.

My dd is supposed to do this for her next appointment as well. The doctor said that we should be able to tell if the brace is doing what it's supposed to do or not at this appointment. She had an in-brace x-ray for her 1st appointment one month after she got the brace. That showed a 50% correction. Her next appointment will be in October. My dd got her brace in March.
