Hi everyone,
I just had an appointment with a second surgeon, Dr. Wagner of University of Washington in Seattle. He has recommended surgery for my 52' thoracic curve, just as my first-opinion-surgeon did. I had lots of questions for him, and after he left the room, I realized we hadn't talked about bending x-rays. I talked with the patient care coordinator afterwards, and asked her; she apparently went to talk with Dr. Wagner or his assistant, and I was told no, no more x-rays, I was free to go.
Is that something I need to push for more information on? Are they a necessary part of this surgery? Or are they maybe something I will have once my surgery date gets closer?
I want to chime in my thankfulness for this site also, and I know I'll be utilizing it a LOT in the months to come. Thank you everyone!
