Spine Stapling surgery

Hi,
I have spoken to two wonderful mom's about this type of surgery with children 5 and 7 or 8. I was wondering if anyone has a child that is around my sons age (He is 11, he will be 12 in Sept.). I would like to be able to find others who have ahd the stapling surgery.
Also, has anyone had stapling with out great results. We are considering surgery and am trying to get all the info I can.
Any help would be appreciated. Again my thanks to Maria and Amanda, whowithout their support and stories I don't know that I would do this.

My daughter just turned 12 last week. She had the vertebral stapling surgery this past February in Atlanta. So far, she has had good results. We go back to the doctor June 1, so I will know more then. I will be happy to share our experience with you. My e-mail is slfalk@comcast.net
