I've written an article for adults facing surgery. It has suggestions for
what questions to ask your doctor, and also a step by step review as to what you can expect immediately following surgery. Basically, it tells you what to expect in the hospital and how to prepare yourself for surgery. This is patient info written by a patient; not medical info. Please e-mail me directly at Victoriaharpist@aol.com[/email] if you would like me to e-mail it to you.
I've had three surgeries including a hardware removal.

Victoria, just curious, did you publish this somewhere?

I was going to ask the same question as Singer. I'm only going to read things that have only been published by doctors and surgeons

I feel much better about the upcoming surgery since i read Victoria's tips. it's kind of like childbirth...the doctors can tell you what is typical and textbook, but not many have actually experienced it, to know what works..I am so grateful to all of you that take the time to share your experiences. Today , I made a trip back out to town to shop for some more things i didn't realize i needed !! thanks again, Victoria and to all of the others here.. Lisa
