Dear experienced Skoli-experts!
I (13 years old, 175cm tall) have a thoracolumbar scoliosis of 52° (L1 and Th11 to L4) and have to make a rather quick decision whether to have surgery under KASS or HZI.
My question:
Are the implants “Kaneda Dual Solid Rod” (KASS) and “Combined Treaded and Solid Rod” (Halm-Zielke) equivalently effective by a thoracolumbar scoliosis?
Are there any comparative studies and where?
I'm very grateful for any replies
Cheers
