  • A Memorable Birthday

I received a call from the surgery scheduler last week and was told they set a date for my surgery. May 23, When I mentioned to her that was my Birthday, her reply was "well it will be a memorable one". I'll just celebrate early and this will be the first year I won't have cake on the actual day. I feel as if i'm ready mentaly, but I have a lot to do around the house. I now have at least one appt. every week until then for tests, blood donations and Doctors. But on the good side, we're going to a wedding in Cozumel for six days at the end of April. I'm looking forward to a straighter me.

      Patty-
You will get the best birthday present of all- a new back! Until then stay busy- that really helped me to not dwell on the surgery. Our prayers will be with you!!

Your surgery is one day after my 1 yr. anniversary! How appropriate that your surgery will be on your birthday. It will truly be a "new birth" in many ways.
