Hi! I have a few friends who have been treated at the Nuffield and one very good friend who is under Mr Fairbanks. She thinks he's brilliant

If you would like to talk to her and other UK people, and don't mind joining another site too, please come and join us at www.scoliosis-support.org - we are a UK-based site and half of our members are from the UK.

I hope that the mods here don't mind us mentioning our site; a lot of us post here too, and we often send US-based members over here if we can't help them with their enquiries The same goes for Spinekids, which is a brilliant site for teenagers with scoli.

I had my surgery done by Dr. Bowden in January of this year. The operation was carried out at the Nuffield, but I stayed in the Oxford Clinic for Specialist Surgery. My surgery went very well, and I cannot fault any aspect of the care I was given -- except for the food! You'll be in good hands if you have your surgery done at the Nuffield.
