Hate to ask...., but...

I really hate to ask this but, as I am planning to have surgery with Dr. Shelokov too, has anyone heard anything about what caused her to pass away? Was it the Anesthesiologist? An undiagnosed preexisting condition? Or was it surgical error? I would like to go into surgery with the right team. Thank you all, and again I apologize for the question.

Hi Ann,

You ask what many of us are thinking. It's a tragic thing, that we may not get answered on this forum, then again maybe we will.

But with all due respect, I think you have every right to ask him that question, as you are his patient. I also think, as his patient you have the right to an answer.

I don't feel that I have the right to know, but you do.
