hey! im getting my brace this thursday! im very scared and i was wondering if anybody could give me some pointers and tell me what i might expect when i get it on? i have kyphosis and a 23 degree cruve. thank you sooo much! =]

If you are wondering what to expect with your brace check out the Spine Kids website and go to Bracing:Tips and Tricks. My son and I found it to be the bible of brace wearing and more helpful than anything the healthcare pros gave us.

There's no need to be scared, but I don't think that any kid who's worn a brace would ever tell you its easy. As my son found out though, its the first couple of weeks that are the hardest. After that things get better.
