  • this is it...

    well tomorrow is the big day and im nervous .im leaving tonight to go stay with my mom for the early wake up tomorrow at 4.i will let everyone know or have someone update how im doing.this group is so great and thanks to everyone for all the great advice and information,its been a great help to me.i probably know more than i should about the surgery..lol but it has prepared me. take care everyone :-) trudy,

            Trudy,

            I hope that everything goes great for you!!! Just remember the following words, "Take it one day at a time", "Two steps forward, one step back", "Don't over do", "It's a very long and slow recovery". Keep those words in mind and all times and you'll be fine!

            April 8 & 12, 2004 - Anterior/Posterior surgery 15 hours & 7 hours
            Thorasic - 79 degree down to 22
            Lumbar - 44 degree down to 18
            Fused T2 to sacrum
            June 2, 2005 - Pedicle subtraction osteotomy @L3 7 hours
            MAY 21, 2007 - Pedicle subtraction osteotomy @ L2, extended the fusion to S2 and added pelvic instrumentation 9 hours

            FUSED T2 - SACRUM 2
