Scar at nearly 12 months post op

Just thought people might like to know how well a scar can heal when you are an oldster (over 40!). I am nearly 12 months post op and my scar is fading well.

Well, finally. My first post. Your scar looks great. Took me months to get on this forum. I'm 47 with an 80° curve, op scheduled for Feb 14. Read yr posts and blog and learnt a lot. Originally from London, now living in Paris.

tried to PM you a while back but couldn't get through - anyway I'm glad you finally managed to get your first working post up.

My lumbar curve was similar to yours and I am only a couple of years younger, so hopefully you will have some idea of what to expect from my experiences.

Good luck with the surgery - do everything the doctors and nurses tell you and don't be afraid to ask them for anything....
