HI all,
I live in the UK and would like to get in touch with non-UK spinal surgeons. I have congenital hemi-verterbrae in the thoracic area. I'm 28 and don't get too much pain. I have a lumbar curve of 60 degrees and thoracic curve of 68 degrees. In addition, I have a syrinx in the thoracic area.
I have done some reading about surgery in these cases and know that a fusion is possible with good results. In the UK I have been told surgery is too risky, but I'm not sure if this is a world wide opinion.
I would be eternally grateful if someone here might be able to help me get the contact details of another expert in congenital scoioisis surgery.
kind regards
gavin
