well i go back feburary 5th. * sigh * if it gets worse, its gonna be surgery. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

CHYAAA!!! i dont have any experience with surgery..yet. I remember going back last time and my doctor telling me i needed surgery. I cried IN HIS OFFICE!! It was totally the OPPOSITE of what i was expecting to hear. I was prepared to hear "oh, you've had yr brace 2 years, like the plan was, you can stop wearing it now" but instead i get "oh, yr back got almost 10 degrees worse on the bottom in the last months. Yr going to need to keep wearing yr brace and start thinking about your options, like surgery"
OMG it was terrible! That was also before i knew about this site and before i knew anything about the surgery. All i can say is to go in PREPARED, i so wasnt, lol. Get the facts about the surgery, ask around. Go to yr doc with a list of questions, my mom has a whole notebook full of them:eek:!! Just make sure that you have some information before you go, and dont get yr hopes up. Not trying to say that the worst is going to happen, but i went in thinking this was my last visit and got stabbed with the scapel, basically...
Other than that, I just kind of felt like posting here because it looked so bare :(

Chyeeeah!!! i know...she read this book about the surgery that is like 200 pgs long and has a little notebook full of questions, i dont even know what they are! maybe my mom should look at this site, that would help...shes the one that told me about it!
