  • New York/New Jersey Doctors

    Hi Everyone,

I recently posted a question about a specific NY surgeon (Dr. Schwab) but instead I'll ask - what New York or New Jersey surgeon/s does anyone recommend?

I thought Dr. Schwab seemed great, but of course at some point I will probably get more than 1 opinion. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi
It really depends on who you feel most comfortable and at ease with. I highly recommend The Beth Israel Spine Institute Team. My leading surgeon was Dr. Andrew Casden, but he worked very closely with other surgeons as well.
    Good luck!

      Hi,

If it's for a child (18 or younger) I would recommend Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia. We travel with our 7 year old son from NY to Philly for treatment because they are that good.

      best of luck,
