I am new to this group and have just spent a long time reading many of the threads- what a wonderful group. I am 27 years old with a 55 degree thoracolumbar curve. I will probably be having surgery within a year and am wondering if anyone has had surgery at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, or specifically with Dr. Tribus. I would like to hear any experiences.
Also, I feel very confused with all the information I am getting from the doctors. I have quite a bit of pain and the doctor said I could put off the surgery, but do you think that it is better to prolong it as long as possible, or do it while I'm younger and before I have a child? It is a difficult decision.
Thank you.
