Today I was looking at family photos taken the last 12 months (2001-2002)before my revision surgery . I am shocked to see how deformed  I was despite valiant efforts to "hide" my 30-80-40 curves with giant rib hump(leftover from 100 deg curve as an adolescent). I was so tilted and bent. Actually--crumpled.

The rib hump is now 80% less my shoulders are even and my appearance is generally healthy and normal.

Worth every minute of that surgery/recovery. :)

If possible, please put your pictures on forum so we can see!!! Really helps motivate us close to surgery.

Thanks,

Deb

Hi Brat,

Notwithstanding before and after pics, you've just reinforced the seriousness of this surgery to all of us.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Dave, You had a tuff go didn't you? Did you have a heart attack during the surgery? 34 is to young to have heart problems. Hope everything is working well now. I have had 4 heart attacks with the 1st one when I was 46. I am 60 now. My surgery was 15 1/2 hours and my heart doctor was there waiting threw it all. I was lucky and cheated him out of any work. Boy did my ins. co get billed for his time.HeHeHe.
