    Hi,

Does anyone here have Congenital Scoliosis? And if so what is the surgery like and how different is it from the other scoliosis?

    Thanks

    Hi,
Hopefully someone will answer your question. Also there is a part of this forum where you might check for other types of scoliosis such as congenital. You might get more answers.....

My son (age 11) has congenital scoliosis. He's had anterior/posterior fusion surgery and he also has two vertical expandable rods currently. Does that help?

Yeah kind of helps. I have a 50 degree curve at the top and a 40 - 50 degree at the lower curve, that was when i was 16 yrs old and he told me because its well balanced and i've fully grown it shouldn't move anymore.
Buti have to go back for a check up what do you think the possibilities are that it has moved?

They said if surgery had to happen they were just going to fuse the top convex curve???? (sound right)

        Thanks
