Hello All,
I am going to South Carolina to take care of college age son's living woes (from tomorrow morning until Sunday). Back Sunday night - preop on Monday - and report to Bethesda at 0530 for the surgery on Tuesday.
TIme is racing and time is dragging. Dread this surgery more than any replacement surgery, but Bethesda Naval Medical Center is one of the best (president goes there). I talked with nurses yesterday at Ortho- I have the spinal Ortho guy- neurosurgeron - vascular (sp?) surgeon - and any stray folks wandering the halls to do the surgery. OR is booked for the entire day which is spooky unto itself.
Life is certainly interesting.
