Is there anyone out there who has had their body reject their rod? What symptoms did you have? What tests did they do to say for sure that your rod was in rejection? I've been having alot of pain lately, and its not the nerve condition, its muscloskeletal pain. I've also been having some sores around my incision. Sometimes they bleed and then scab over, and then will keep doing this cycle for awhile. Can anyone relate?

If you go onto the adult forum - Surgical Revision - Hardware removal thread, there are two women, Diana Black and SandyC, who had infections and may have to have their rods removed. You may want to read their posts; they describe their symptoms.
Sounds like you should discuss your symptoms with your surgeon.
