  • Mobility after surgery

My Daughter is 15 and we are planning to have surgery to correct a 40 degree curve she has. They want to fuse from T5-L2 and I'm scared she might lose some of her mobility. She is an avid softball player and I don't want her to lose any of that. Any comments or emails would be appreciated

My daughter, 14 had her spinal fusion with thoracoplasty 7 weeks ago, T4 to L2 and hasn't had any problems with mobility. Her curve was about 56* before surgery. Good luck.
