Scheuermann's Spinal fusion

My husband had surgery for sheuermann's kyphosis disease. He had t-1 thorugh L-2 fused. He got a staph infection and had his second surgery on My question: Has anyone had this surgery? I would like to talk with anyone who could give us clues on what to expect later on.

I was recently diagnosed with Scheuermann's kyphosis and several surgeons have suggested having T2-T12 fused. I'm a 26 year old healthy male. I don't have much to offer regarding your post, but I am curious about your husband's situation. How old is he, when was he diagnosed, how many surgical opinions did he get before the surgery, etc.?
