Has anyone heard of Dr. Gary Schniederman?

Has anywhere heard of Gary Schniederman, M.D. around the greater Sacramento area? I have to go to him because of belonging to Healh Net, an HMO. I have to go to him for a first opinion but my ultimate doctor I would like to have is at UCSF.

Has anybody else out there had experience dealing with an HMO and getting the surgeon you want?

Hi Suzy here. Just answered your private message to me. Dr.S assististed with my surgery. Scoliosis surgery is not his speciality other back stuff is,from what I remember being told. Dr. Matthew Mermer is THE spine deformity/scoliosis specialist at Mercy san juan hospital. Dr. Mermer had Dr. S. assist because he is a great back Dr. and they complement each other very well. (Quote from Dr. M.) They assist each other quite a bit.
