  • how to find a orthpedic spine surgeron? What about shoe lifts?

    Hello,

We are going to make an appt. for an ortho spine surgeron. Does anyone know or want to recommned someone in South Orange County, CA? Is it best to find out how many minimally invasive surgeries the surgeron has done? I have a 19 yr old with scoliosis. Has anyone tried shoe lifts?

    Thx for your help.

    Hi Concerned...

If you're set on your child having minimally invasive surgery (assuming that he's a candidate), than it's EXTREMELEY important to find out how many the surgeon has done. There is a very steep learning curve for this technology. I believe that Dr. John Regan in Beverly Hills is known for his research in this type of surgery. There may be others closer to you, but I don't know of any.

    Regards,
    Linda
