Complications with the rods

I am a 22 year old female. i had surgery on my back in 1997. Today i have pain but not too bad but on the right side of my back it looks like a hump or something. I only have pain on the right side. My left side does not look like that. Can the rods come loose? Does anybody know what the problem could be?

It could be anything from a muscle injury to a new curve or a problem with one of your rods. It's not an emergency, but you should make an appointment with your scoliosis specialist.
