  • meds that prohibit fusing?

I searched and I can't find it; which meds are you not supposed to use after surgery because they interfere w/fusing? Motril, Advil, Tylenol . . .????? Thanks! Pat

I am certainly no expert but I remember reading that ibuprofin interferes with the fusion so I give my daughter tylenol.

Tylenol is ok. Any anti inflammatories such as ibuprophen (motrin, advil, etc.), aspirin, or naproxyn sodium should be avoided. I think that is it.

I was told nothing but Tylenol for one year after surgery.
