  • i have a question

hi i'm a bit confused at the moment and wondered if anyone can help me. I have an 'S' shape curve and i think the degrees and 70 and 60-70 for the other curve. My doctor wrote to me to tell me the degrees but he didnt seem to show much concern. For me it was a shock because i had no idea they were so high, and i felt a bit emotional about it, especially because i thouught that having such high curves was bad. But my doctor sounded fairly casual about it so now im quite confused! why isn't he as worried as i am???-x-x-x

how old are you? if you don;t like what your doc thinks then go to another doctor. if you say your curves are really what they are, then you should really have surgery. my curve recently reached 40 degrees, and just when it was 38 i already had my surgery scheduled for this june. so im not really scared. in my opinion i say you find a doctor you like. where are you from??
