  • I have a question

hi i'm a bit confused at the moment and wondered if anyone can help me. I have an 'S' shape curve and i think the degrees and 70 and 60-70 for the other curve. My doctor wrote to me to tell me the degrees but he didnt seem to show much concern. For me it was a shock because i had no idea they were so high, and i felt a bit emotional about it, especially because i thouught that having such high curves was bad. But my doctor sounded fairly casual about it so now im quite confused! why isn't he as worried as i am???-x-x-x-

I would recommend that you seek a second or third opinion, both of which you are legally entitled to. Cobb angle measurements can vary as much as 10 degrees between doctors and many othopaedic doctors will have different views on your condition - so it is worth checking them out.
