I finally have a date
Just a quick note to you all. My date has finally come through - 19th January pre-op assessment and then surgery scheduled for the 8th February. Due to UK Health Service and bed space issues they can't confirm the surgery date until the 7th February when I have to call to see if a bed is available. If there has been an emergency then I will be delayed until the bed is free! Still, that's the system over here!
I will be very relieved to get it all over with now but am glad my long wait is finally over.
My husband is going to update my blog for me so that those people who are interested can check on my progress.
