Hey, guys! I just went to the doctor yesterday and he assured me that he was going to operate me at 38 degrees. Does anyone here disagree with this? I'm 15 years old.

Hey Scoligal. Well, the usual degree where they start to consider surgery is around 40*. And with you being 15, you are probably still growing so, your curve could get worse, causing to exceed 38*. So, in a way, surgery may be the best result. I know that its scary, but for me, after the surgery, I learned it is totally worth it. Hope this little bit helps. If you need anything, just email me. My addy is on my signature. Take care, Ross
