what do adults due if they have scoliosis

  • #2
    Hello!

I'm 21 and I have adult scoliosis. Basically, I'm supposed to go have x-rays done once a year to see if my curve progresses. My curve moved 15 degrees in 4 years (my Dr. said it wouldn't move any more because I was done growing). I have a lot of pain, but it seems like I just have to deal with it. I went to physical therapy and a chiropractor for awhile, but neither of them helped. I am currently doing pilates, which helps a tiny bit.

It doesn't seem like Dr.'s know what to do with adult scoliosis. They don't like to do surgery and they don't brace you. It seems like I'm stuck.
