I was diagnosed with scoliosis back when i was 17 but my doctor told me i should be fine. Now i am 19 and i went to a chiropractic for a lower back pain and discovered that i was having pain from my scoliosis. so the pain im having is in the lower back more towards the left and it feels like burning, aching feeling with tingling and numbness down my left leg. The chiropractic told me i had a idopathic scoliosis and it my x-rays looks weird because when im standing, both of my pelvic bones were leveled but my spine was curving to the left. so where should i go to have this treated? i hard that chiropractic isnt a very good choice.
sorry for the long msg and thank you.

I was seeing a chiropracter for over a year and realized that I hurt worse afterwards than I did before I went in for my adjustments.....come to find out, when he adjusted my spine it was trying to go back into its natural curve therefore was pinching nerves . I go to see my neurosurgeon on the 27 and 28 of September and I will be getting an epidural pain shot in the back, more MRI's,seeing a rheumotologist, receiving a tens unit and probably setting up a date for surgery on the ruptured disc. Some people have better luck with chiropracters but in my case it made the pain worse. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
