I have a 15 year old daughter with a 55% curve. I'm looking for a doctor who would be sensitive scoliosis and to monitoring her while she does Alexander technigue and yoga, and any non-surgical theraphy I can find that may be helpful. I thought a pediatrician with certain specialties might help her, both physcially and emmotionally. I've been looking for a nonsurgical orthopedist and as of yet, haven't found one. The orthopedic surgeons recommend surgery as the only way. It's frustrating to say the least.
