Hi Mo,
My daughter had surgery March 9th, anterior which is supposed to be more painful than posterior, and as of today, she's doing great! She's pretty much back to normal activities, at least what the doctor will let her do, and she looks so much better. Her waist, hips, and shoulders are even, and she gained three inches from the surgery. You would never know to look at her that she has scoliosis, other than a very impressive scar.
When people ask, she just says, "You should see the other guy!" ;)
Best of luck with everything, and please feel free to PM or e-mail with any questions at all. We're glad to help.
