Hi everyone, how are you doing? I have a quick question that I was hoping you could help me with... I'm not sure if you remember, but I have posted on here before. (At the risk of being redundant..). I have a 70 degree curve in my upper back, and a 50 degree curve in my lower back. I always seem to be hurting, and can't seem to ever be comfortable.
Yesterday, I went to do my family's laundry (this is something I've ALWAYS done), but on getting home from the laundromat, I found myself in the terrible pain. I could hardly move, and it seemed as though even breathing caused my back to ache even more. I also noticed that every step I took caused my feet to hurt me really bad. The soles of my feet would ache so much, that I dreaded walking to the bathroom. Under my left breast down past my stomach was numb, I experienced pins and needles, and even my shoulders seemed under some stress. Every time I took a deep breath, I felt as though I was poking at my heart.
Now, I understand how overdramatic I might sound right now, but these are really things I experienced. Here are my questions that I was hoping you could help me with:
1. Does anyone elses feet hurt the way mine did yesterday?
2. Why do you think I"m in so much pain, considering that I did nothing out of the ordinary yesterday?
3. My inability to move, do you think that was caused by my doing the laundry?
4. I'm 27 years old, do you think that my age has anything to do with anything at all?
5. I am sick and tired of medication, what can I do?
6. I have to see my orthopedic surgeon next tuesday.. do you guys have ANY idea what he might have me do?
7. When does the pain become so bad that its an emergency? I almost went to the ER yesterday, but didn't, 'cos I figured they could do nothing out of the ordinary for me.. they'll just prescribe more medication.
8. I'm finding it more and more difficult to walk, move, or even sit for long periods at a time.. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME????
I apologize for the length of this post, I'm just REALLY scared, and not sure what to do.. I have an appt with my primary care physician today, and I have no clue what to say to him that I haven't said in the past months... PLEASE help me out guys, 'cos I really do feel as though I"m losing my mind here... Thank you.
