  • mri and harrington rods

Hi, my name is mimma. I'm new to this forum. I had spinal fusion surgery back in 1995. I always wondered if it's okay to have an MRI done since i have harrington rods inside. Does anyone know if it's okay? Please let me know!

    Thanks,
    mimma

    Mimma...

Yes, it's fine. However, it will be difficult to see the spine in the area of the implants.

    Regards,
    Linda
