Hi! I hope you are recovering well! I had a couple of questions for you. It's ok if you prefer to keep the answers private and answer some/none of the questions

1) Where did you have the surgery?
2) Who was your doctor
3) Whether or not you had insurance, how much did the surgery cost in total?
4) Are you glad you had this surgery, are you disappointed, or is it too early to tell?

2) Who was your doctor Although he was great, I just would prefer to keep that private.
3) Whether or not you had insurance, how much did the surgery cost in total? I had great insurance. They covered all of the $100,000 in expenses. I had 2 curves and stayed in the hospital for an additional 5 or so days due to lung problems, so the cost was higher than usual for the additional specialists, etc.
4) Are you glad you had this surgery, are you disappointed, or is it too early to tell? I'm glad I had it now and did not wait until I am older. I do have days when I think if it was the right choice or not, but I know that 5-10 years from now, I'll know that it was the right choice because my curves were so severe and progessing...the surgery was iminent.

The only reason i ask is that your case is the most similar to mine, even though your curves were a little bigger.
Age is same, asthma etc!

You're welcome Central. I found it pretty difficult to find people in their 20's to early 30's who have recently undergone this surgery. Please keep the questions coming and I'll answer what I can. I have to say that being back to work just 11 weeks post-op seems quick, but I really feel up to it and am doing well.
