I finally got copies of my x-rays taken 2 yrs ago. The curves actually aren't as bad as it was decribed on the xray report. I assumed my worst curve was over 50 degrees since the radiologist said I had a severe thoracolumbar curve. (I measured my curve w/ the cobb's angle method.. (I could be wrong..but it gave me a ballpark figure..) It looks as though my biggest curve is only moderate.
The radiology place took the xray while I was lying down. I know that for scoliosis xrays are taken standing to measure the curve.
Does anyone know if there is significant difference in curves between standing/supine xrays?
