Hello new community! I'm having a two-part fusion procedure next week at Georgetown Univ. Hospital in D.C. Besides having an "S" curve of 56 and 68 degrees, I also have a peripheral neuropathy -- Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease. CMT patients have weak hands and leg muscles, which means I'm unable to squat to bend down and buttoning shirts is problematic. I have two questions: 1) Has anyone been a patient of Dr. Fred Mo? 2) Do any other Forum members suffer with CMT.... I'm looking for advice on how they may have made adjustments and how long they were in rehab facility. I've been told to expect a week in the hospital and 1-3 weeks in a rehab facility.
