    hey everyone I forgot to post this a month ago.
    Im now 6 years post-op.
    When i found out i needed surgery back in the summer of 2009 I was like really scared because i never had suck a huge surgery ever in my life.
    But soon i got used to it but i wasn't happy that I had it during 12th grade. But i just wanted to get done and over with.
    Now it April of 2016 my back is doing fantastic

        You should be very proud of yourself for facing something as scary as spine surgery and having the courage to go through it! Pat yourself on the back!

          Hi Kara,

          Congratulations on your 6 year anniversary! It's funny how so many people don't realize that these dates are still important to us. I think it is almost impossible for people who have not had scoliosis surgery to understand what a huge deal it is to go through it.
