Vitamin C

Hello all,

My daughter is having surgery March 9th with Dr. Boachie in NYC. My mom is a nurse, and she has suggested that we talk to the doctor about adding vitamin C to her IV, as she feels very strongly it expedites healing. Has anyone heard or read anything about this?

Never heard of putting it in an I.V., but I was told to start my daughter on a pill form the day she was discharged from the hospital. I thought it was to help keep her healthy, but maybe it does help with healing, because she is doing great!
