Anyone else have an appointment with Dr. Lenke on October 24th? I go in for my 1 year post-op appt. 9 a.m.
Glad to be 1 year post-op and can't even believe where I was last year at this time (surgery on 9/28), I would have been home from the hospital for 2 days right now...It's pretty remarkable how far I've come but how far I still have to go....People continually ask me "was it worth it?" I'm still on the fence...The pain is different but definitely worse than before surgery. I am so much more limited than I was before surgery, but I know that with the progression of my curvature, that I made the right decision for my future...Hopefully.
It's crazy that it's already been a year.
