    cons
    being stiff
    a year to complety recover

a small report from when i was in the hospital. march 10 2010
I really can't believe it. It still feels like yesterday when I was taken to the operating room.
I remember waking up at 5:30 am because I had to be at hospital before 7 am. I was admited at 6:52 am. As I was waiting I was thinking finally after 5 years of having scoliosis I'm finally getting it fixed. So when my name was called I had to get ready for my surgery. When It time to go to the or I said bye to my family. So when I got to the or I saw my surgeon before my surgery. after 8 hours in the OR i came out with 2 rods, 8 screws, five hooks and five wires and a fusion from t4-l2. i was in the sicu for 2 days after surgery and five days in the ortho/spine unit. i had many post-op check up just had my 3 year one on 1/29/13. i have no regrets on having my scoliosis surgery done during my last year of high school

          Congratulations, Kara!!!

I guess you and David have something in common. Today, when he heard the date mentioned on TV, he reminded me that it was his 9 year anniversary (since having VBS on 3/10/04).

          Time flies!
