I bet it's hard to believe that it is almost 3 years. I'm a year behind you. Time flies. I hope you get a good report at your check up.

I'm getting a bit nervous about my 3 year follow up appt.

Why are you getting nervous?

Do you know how long you have to keep going back? Our surgeon releases kids after 20 months (one year after the 8 month appointment assuming maturity) and my kids haven't been to the surgeon in quite a while. They are done and carrying on with normal life.

Kara...is anything bothering you physically...?
do you have any pain...?
i am wondering why you are feeling nervous...?
if you have no pain, i am thinking the surgeon will have only good
things to tell you.

Hi Kennedy,

I always feel nervous before my x-rays and appointments, too. I call it "that dreaded x-ray feeling." It's natural. I think you are going to do great.

I just realized I have my one year check-up that day, too. I am hoping for a good report after having broken rods last year.

How is everything else going? Have you been on winter break?

Kennedy,
I have my 2 year appointment on the 16th. I also get a little nervous each time I get x-rays, so you aren't the only one. Keep on working hard in college.

hi Kara
most doctors and nurses are aware that people can get nervous in
the doctor's office, and that can make their blood pressure higher
than normal...

i do not think you will have any problem with Partnership of CA...
if there is a lot of paper work to fill out, perhaps your parents can
help you....
do you have an advisor or counselor thru your school??
that might be someone else who could help you...

any kind of change makes people nervous...
i had to change insurance plans in November, because of a new
requirement by NYC for retired employees...
it made me a little crazy for a few days...
but i got it done, after making some phone calls to help me figure
things out...

i am sure you will be fine...
just reach out for help when you need it...

Sparky and i send you hugs and woofs...

jess it way more complex then that. when i had to have the nasal polyp removed about 8 months ago my doctor's office never sented the thing for the ent at ucdmc until my mom and me made my appt with my gp and she was really mad.

sorry to hear about the trouble you had with their office...
sounds like your mother will be the best person to go to
your appointment with...
and the one to make sure things are followed up...
