  • No stoop pet care

    Hi all,

After fretting about my cat litter box for six months, I finally Googled "long-handled litter scoop." I found this site called kittykaddy.com that sells long-handled scoops, plus litter boxes with tall handles, and cat and DOG dishes with long poles, so you can pick them up without stooping. They were not too expensive, either. Thought some of you might want to know.

    Best,

I will check it out, I did buy a pooper scooper with a very long retractable handle, that works great and saves me from bending- but I am worried about the water & food dshes. I read a while back : someone had the great idea of drilling small holes in the water bowl rim and threading fishing line thru it - to create a balanced loop so that you could pick the bowl up with a stick or hook. But I'll check this website too!

    Cspine C3- C7 fusion Nov. 2011 <done! success!!>, then scoli surgery T2- L4 or maybe to sacrum.
Discogram/ myelogram pending. Surgery to be scheduled, maybe fall 2015. <scared but I know this is not going to get better>
THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR SHARING EXPERIENCES AND KNOWLEDGE!

You can find a long handled dustpan at a 90 degree angle that works well for lowering pet dishes.
