    hi every one just wanted to let you all now im going back to college tommrrow. but it in the town i live in. Im taking a PE class. im just a bit nervous about because i have 4 ear infecsions right now.

        Kara - good luck!

        Imagine at your age and already gone thru so much. You have a whole new future in front of you and everything you do will be the correct thing. Remember that your education and your spine are yours to keep and no one can take that away. Take care of yourself.

          Kara,
          Sorry to hear about the ear infections. Do you mean you have four different bacteria growing in there? Do you have swimmers ear? That is very painful. I think sometimes it can be caused by a fungus as well, not sure. Either way, I hope you feel better soon.

          What are you going to school for? Sometimes you can get some prerequisites out of the way and then decide on your major. I was just curious if you have a major picked out. Is it a technical school or a university? Either way, congrats on your decision to go back.

                  Great news Kara, hope the ears clear up soon.

                  I actually had to do a flush with Hydrogen Peroxide the other day to get the bowling ball out of my ear. The ear sites say that wax prevents infections and not to do this too often. Of course, you should see a doctor.

                      61 years old--57 for surgery

                      Diagnosed in 1965 at age of 13--no brace
                      Thoracic Curve: 96 degrees to 35 degrees
                      Lumbar Curve: 63 degrees to 5 degrees
                      Surgery with Dr. Lenke in St. Louis--March 30, 2009
                      T-2 to Pelvis, and hopefully all posterior procedure.

                      All was posterior along with 2 cages and 6 osteotomies.

                            leighann i had seveal ear infecuions before i had the nasal polyp so i geuss it back to the ear
