:) I am about ready to apply in Placer county for medi-cal and am putting all my hopes into being referred to Dr. Picetti at Kaiser. I did a lot of research, and it looks like he is well trained and has a great web page. Please tell me more about him as a doctor and how my first visit will go.

Dr. Picetti is an excellent spine surgeon and does great with pediatrics and scoliosis (and adults with complex spine abnormalities). He recently left Kaiser and joined Sutter Neuroscience Medical Group in Sacramento. I called his office and his new number is 916-454-6850.

He specalizes in minimally-invasive surgery - which drastically reduces recovery and hospital time! Good luck all.
